Who We AreWe give students interested in healthcare careers a place to learn, grow, and explore their future paths. Members gain access to guest speakers, workshops, professional panels, and educational resources that help clarify different roles within the healthcare system. We also help students build leadership skills that form the foundation of their future careers.
ABOUT US
-
Our society is committed to serving the community through volunteer work, health-focused events, and group service projects. Members complete at least 12 volunteer hours per semester, including PPS-sponsored group hours. Giveback nights and community partnerships allow students to engage meaningfully with the Lafayette area and support local organizations.
-
We create an environment where students with similar goals can connect and grow together. Through meetings, events, and collaborative activities, members meet peers across disciplines, form study groups, share opportunities, and build relationships that support their academic and professional journey.
-
We encourage members to lead, innovate, and contribute ideas that shape our society. Students can get involved through committees, volunteer coordination, event leadership, and campus initiatives. PPS helps members build confidence while gaining real-world leadership experience that strengthens future medical and graduate school applications.
