SCRCS hosts an annual Undergraduate Research Conference (URC) at UL Lafayette. Undergraduates meet to present Oral Presentations, Lightning Talks, Posters, and Creative Activity Performances of their research. The conference is held each November and provides students and mentors  with an opportunity to gather and share their knowledge and experiences.

BURS offers a supportive platform for undergraduate students to present their research, share successes and challenges, and connect with a vibrant academic community. Designed to provide practical presentation experience, the symposium inspires students to showcase their work at regional, national, or international conferences. Both Graduate and Undergraduate Students from Universities in Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Texas and select other locations are invited to join LSU Shreveport students in presenting research and/or creative work in:

SURA has been organizing Stanford Research Conference for over a decade. In 2026, we received an unprecedented number of applications, from which we selected over a hundred projects. Three teams of plenary speakers shared their work on nano-scale detection of biophysical properties, stellar precession and its potential effect on Polynesian migration patterns, and the social and financial costs of biased facial recognition technology. Panelists, keynote speakers and guests from Stanford Undergraduate Research Journal added to participants' experiences. Beyond presenting research, SRC attendees also got to share in Stanford's dorm life and explore Palo Alto

The Yale Undergraduate Research Conference (YURC) is the nation’s largest and most prestigious student-run research conference, bringing together hundreds of undergraduates from around the world to Yale University. Participants present original research spanning the full spectrum of academic disciplines, from science and engineering to the social sciences and humanities.

The National Conference on Undergraduate Research (NCUR) is dedicated to promoting undergraduate research, scholarship and creative activity in all fields of study by sponsoring an annual conference for students. Unlike meetings of academic professional organizations, this gathering of student scholars welcomes presenters from all institutions of higher learning and from all disciplines. Overall, this conference offers a unique environment for the celebration and promotion of undergraduate student achievement; provides models of exemplary research, scholarship, and creative activity; and offers student career readiness development.

SWIM celebrates the scholarship of higher-learning students who have conducted work in museums that are located in SEMC's region. It acknowledges the important innovation, creativity, and insight provided to the museum field by these emerging professionals. 

The Emerging Researchers National (ERN) Conference in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) is hosted by the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), Center for STEMM Education and Workforce (CSEW) Programs and the National Science Foundation (NSF) Directorate for STEM Education (EDU) and is in alignment with updated 2026 NSF priorities. The conference is aimed at providing professional development for all college and university undergraduate and graduate students, studying any STEMM discipline, including minorities, persons with disabilities and women.

The URS is open to all undergraduate students engaged in faculty mentored research and creative discovery. Submissions will be organized into the following categories: Biological and Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, Social Sciences, Engineering, Business and Economics, Education, Humanities, and Arts, Music, & Design.

MIT URTC is an internationally-renowned research conference for undergraduates and by undergraduates. Our annual conference is themed around incredible breakthroughs in engineering and technological research made by student researchers at the undergraduate level all over the country.

The Student Research Showcase is an online science communication competition in which students compete for awards and recognition of outstanding virtual research presentations. The competition is open to high school, undergraduate, and graduate students and most worldwide research disciplines are represented across thirteen categories.
